Cub Scout Pack 242
Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 242 — a family Cub Scout pack serving Aquia Harbour, Virginia and nearby neighborhoods. We're open to boys and girls in kindergarten through fifth grade, and we give families a welcoming place to enjoy the outdoors, build friendships, and make lasting memories close to home.
Meeting with us
- When: most Mondays, 6:30–7:30 PM, September through May
- Where: Lion's Park (August–October and April–May), or the Club House
basement (November–March) for colder months

Come visit any time. There's no uniform, no fee, and no commitment just to meet the Pack and see what we're about.
What we do
- Camping and the outdoors — fall and spring campouts, overnights, hikes, and outdoor skills
- Pinewood Derby — build, race, and cheer (November)
- Blue & Gold Banquet & Crossover — celebrate rank achievements (February)
- Service and conservation — Scouting for Food, clean waterways, flag retirement, and more
- STEM and skills — STEM Day, fishing and scout skills, bike rodeo
- Summer adventures — paddle craft day, pool nights, day camp, and more
Who we are
Pack 242 is chartered by the Aquia Harbour Property Owners Association and part of Scouting America's National Capital Area Council.
